Vision & Objectives

To establish a permanent Islamic Center that serves as a proper and comfortable place of worship, education, and community support for Muslims living in Minokamo City and surrounding areas. The Minokamo Islamic Center will provide a clean, safe, and well-equipped prayer facility with separate areas for men and women, with a capacity of approximately 700–1,000 worshippers for daily prayers, Friday prayers, Taraweeh, Eid prayers, and other special religious events.

Beyond its role as a place of worship, the center will serve as a hub for Quran education, Islamic learning, youth development, family activities, and community programs for children, teenagers, and adults. It will strengthen unity among Muslims from diverse cultural and national backgrounds while providing social support, charitable activities, and volunteer opportunities for the wider community.

The Islamic Center will also promote positive social integration by creating opportunities for interaction and cooperation between Muslims and local Japanese residents. Through seminars, exhibitions, cultural activities, and interfaith dialogues open to the public, the center will encourage mutual understanding, tolerance, cultural exchange, and harmony within Minokamo society.

Ultimately, the Minokamo Islamic Center aims to become an inclusive and sustainable institution that meets the religious, educational, and social needs of the Muslim community while contributing positively to a more connected, respectful, and harmonious multicultural society in Japan.
